Understanding Death: Why Lord? Why? grew out of my own cries for one more hug, one more conversation, one more ordinary day with loved ones who are now gone. If you have stood by a graveside with questions burning in your heart, this book was written with you in mind.

Using clear, gentle language and Scripture, I walk you through what God has shown me about death, grief, and eternity. I address the questions many are afraid to ask out loud: Where are my loved ones now? Why did God allow this? How do I live with this empty chair at the table?

In the wake of widespread loss, especially in seasons like pandemics and community tragedies, hearts need more than clichés.
